Bioserenity, a French medical device company, has developed the WEMU smart clothing system to assist those with epilepsy. WEMU is a shirt and a cap that are embedded with sensors. The outfit monitors the wearer’s physiology and transfers the data to an app on a smartphone. The information is then analyzed and is able to be seen by the patient or health physician from a different location. Constant monitoring allows for better research in assisting epileptics. Bioserenity is currently seeking funds to further the WEMU project.
