BURBERRY DOMINATES DIGITAL RETAILING:

Earlier this week, Burberry debuted their men’s F/W 15/16 collection in London.  No stranger to advanced technology, the British fashion house streamed the show live in their flagship store on Regent Street.  Customers who viewed the collection were able to place orders immediately with Burberry’s digital advisors/sales associates.  Burberry shook up the retail scene a few years ago by attaching RFID (radio frequency identification) tags to their garments. This allows for the potential buyer to pick up any item in the store and trigger a smart mirror to display it on a model.
