Technological breakthroughs are always exciting but there is something extra when an innovative product can improve the quality of life. A group of Yale University students have developed a necklace to track an infant’s medical records. Thousands upon thousands of babies die each year from diseases that could have been prevented. In certain poverty-stricken countries, the use of logging imperative information is easily lost for lack of technological infrastructures. With the Khushi Baby necklace, the healthcare professional simply connects to their smartphone as it picks up the wearable’s information. Khushi Baby debuts later this year for $1 a piece. The organization accepts donations to keep this life-enhancing project alive.
