I never warmed up to home shopping channels.  I didn’t connect at all with the products.  However, the generation or two before me saw things differently.  It’s obvious they were the target audience.  And now I’ve just found out about Mikmak, a home shopping ‘experience’ in the form of an app aimed at millennials.  From gadgets to accessories, all inventory retails for under $100.  The varied products are introduced as 30-second entertaining infomercials.  Although Mikmak is still in beta form, it’s only a matter of time for this sort of thing to take off.  We keep on seeing less traffic space in retail stores (unless it’s Apple) and more activity spent online.  This, of course, being the new way to bridge fashion and technology.
