Some years ago a company called Fabrican invented  spray-on fabric in a can. Pressing the nozzle over your body releases a substance that resembles Silly String. It forms layers of textures that look like textiles. Now comes another innovative spray-on product called Volvo LifePaint.  Made by the Swedish automobile manufacturer Volvo, the spray releases a fine liquid that is invisible during the day yet reflects light at night.  By spraying on bicycles, clothes and other items, you add an extra layer of safety as you travel through the night.  The coating lasts a week and easily washes off.  I wonder if in collaborating with a company like Fabrican, they could develop colorful spray-on clothes that would become reflective by dusk.  The Volvo LifePaint is currently only available for purchase in London.
